Photoshoot with Comet Photos

Posted by Chelsea Christian on September 4, 2013
Posted in: Uncategorized.

My first shoot in Boston was with a photographer who was visiting from Texas, Comet Photos.
He had a beautiful view of the Bunker Hill Bridge during sunset. It was my first time to Boston, so it was great getting to drive into downtown and see the city.

We shot some art nudes, lingerie, and finished with some awesome long exposure stuff with light painting and glowsticks. πŸ™‚

On my way to Boston, I stopped to shoot with Bill M!
We did a short and relaxed glamour shoot in his house. The natural lighting through his upstairs window was great!

This is the most popular shot, but there are a bunch more on my various sites!

Photoshoot with Pixeledge Photo

Posted by Chelsea Christian on August 30, 2013

My shoot with Pixeledge Photo was surprisingly in the same building as my shoot with Jeremy Saffer. (It’s a pretty awesome industrial building that has been renovated to have individually available studios in it. There’s a bunch of artists in there, as well as other people.)
We were also accompanied by a friend of his who is a painter. Unfortunately I don’t have any links or his name (my memory is horrible), but he did say that he would get me some digital copies of the paintings that he did based on our shoot. It’s been a little over a year and I still haven’t seen any, but I haven’t given up hope. πŸ™‚

We started in some lingerie on an antique couch and continued to a steampunk skycaptain look, complete with a crazy “weapon” which I believe (if memory serves me right) was actually a juicer of some type. πŸ˜› We ended the shoot with sort of a digital goddess look with cd pasties and bright makeup.

Photoshoot with Lauren Farrington Photography

I love working with female photographers, and working with Lauren Farrington was no different. She had some awesome ideas and let me go crazy with my hair and makeup.
Extreme hair and makeup is my favorite thing. Unfortunately I’m not anywhere near as talented as pro makeup artists and hair stylists, but I try as hard as I can. I’m definitely not opposed to trying new things, and the awesome faux-hawk that she had envisioned was new to me. I’m incredibly proud of the hair I did. πŸ™‚

We did a couple different looks outside her house in front of a cool backdrop she made from tin-foil. And then finished up with a look in this awesome shallow pool that she made. My fiance got to spray me with water, and even though it was freezing, I love how creative she was and that she let me do unconventional stuff. πŸ™‚

Photoshoot with Jeremy Saffer

Jeremy Saffer_E2J0162sJeremy SafferOne of the first people I ever wanted to work with when I started modelling was the world famous Jeremy Saffer. He’s shot anyone who’s anyone in music, actors, and models, and continues to put out image after image of greatness. When I say that I tried not to fangirl during our shoot, I am not lying.

We shot for about 5 or 6 hours at his studio in MA, and I love the images from it.

We shot in different sets of lingerie for a book he was invited to be published in.
Then we shot some headshots and other looks in his style.
And we concluded with some corpse paint to continue his corpse paint series.

That list seems to make it all seem very simple, but it was a great shoot and that doesn’t really describe it well.

We were originally planning on shooting again two days later, but a close friend of his passed away. He talked about shooting anyway, but I’ve been in that situation and I know that working through grief is incredibly taxing.

I’ve only seen the headshots so far, but I hope to see more eventually. πŸ™‚ I know they will look amazing!

Photoshoot with Jason Barbieri

My next shoot on my trip was a last minute one, but it was a lot of fun, and there are a ton of amazing shots that came from it!

Jason BarbieriJason BarbieriI met with Jason Barbieri at a park that was literally a 3 minute walk from my hotel (and somehow I had no idea it was there!) and we started on the bridge that went over the interstate in some casual clothes. There were a couple of homeless guy sitting below us on the stairs smoking pot, but they didn’t bother us. I was surprised that was the only time we encountered anyone!
From there I changed into something a little more sexy and we found a great graffiti-covered spot to have me pose with.
Once we finished shooting there we were a bit more comfortable with the area and I was happy to strip down and run around naked for a bit for some great nude shots.

There are so so many great photos, that if I included them all on here it would be insane, so I’ll add a couple here, a few more in my portfolio on here and on ModelMayhem, and you’ll just have to check out one of my other sites to find all of them (98 in total)!

If you are near him, I would absolutely recommend working with Jason. He’s a great photographer and wonderful to shoot with. πŸ™‚

Photoshoot with Eric Ely

My first shoot after checking into our hotel in Connecticut was with Eric Ely. I had gotten terrible food poisoning the night before and I almost cancelled the shoot, but I was able to power through it and am glad I didn’t cancel.

Our original plan was to shoot in a store that had a bunch of different things (I believe it was a thrift store or antiques), but something happened and it was flooded. 😦 So after we met there, I followed him and his assistant to another location: an abandoned bank.
I was a bit hesitant at first because it was right on a busy road, and I’m not a huge fan of public nudity. I’ve avoided the police so far on my naked escapades, and I’m trying to keep it that way. πŸ˜› It was also a bit difficult getting into the actual building (balancing on structural beams that the floor had fallen away from over time), so I was nervous about how safe it was.

It ended up being a lot of fun! I’m glad I stuck it out, despite the feeling sick and my apprehension regarding the new location. πŸ™‚

Photoshoot with Future Thieves

Future ThievesFuture ThievesOne of the coolest shoots while I was on my East Coast Tour was with the couple behind Future Thieves.
Not only are they excellent photographers, but they are some of the most fun people to hang out with!

We shot a ton of different looks, and with digital and film cameras. They also shoot with some of the models I admire the most, so you should definitely check out their work!

I only have a small amount on here compared to all of the great images from the shoot, so check out my various sites for more!
