I’ve been a fan of David De Lara‘s art for years, so when he contacted me to work together, I was ecstatic!

When I arrived at the shoot, I had to hold back from fangirling the entire time. He was an awesome, laid-back guy, and his house was absolutely immaculate (I wanted to steal all of his furniture, lol).
He brought in Blood And Glitter for makeup and hair, and she did an amazing job! It was absolutely beautiful, and I couldn’t bear to take it off when the shoot was over.

We started shooting some art nudes with a beautiful flower arrangement that David painted gray, and they looked beautiful. I have never thought of doing something like that before, but it’s definitely something I’ll have to try in the future. We shot against a gorgeous backdrop (another piece of his I was absolutely jealous of), and the images are lovely.

Then we continues on to a set for Zivity where I told a story with a mannequin of his that stole my lingerie and I had to steal it back. 😛

POPP and I stayed in a hotel the first night we were in San Antonio, and I found the most adorable shirt at the mall! I couldn’t help but talk him into shooting a set of me in it. 🙂

My first shoot in San Antonio, TX was with that awesome couple behind MJP-SA. It was an awesome shoot.
We were supposed to have a MUA/Stylist, but they cancelled so I had to improv a bit on the makeup and hope I could do the look they wanted. (I hope I succeeded.) I also had an adorable helper in the form of their puppy to assist with my makeup. 🙂

We shot for a series that they were shooting, and we used a beautiful corset and panty set they had, against a beautiful backdrop (that I must get sometime), an awesome chair, and a fluffy feather boa, all to create an elegant goth look!

I highly recommend them, and I hope I get to work with them soon. 🙂

I did a third workshop at Fotofusion Studios, and it was just as fun as the first two, but this time there was a bit of a twist.
It started out like the first two, with lingerie and nudes. And then one of the photographers, who is also a model, joined me and we got to pose together! Posing with Bella Burke was a ton of fun, and I hope to get to work with her again sometime. 🙂

While in Houston I had the opportunity to shoot with Houston Fine Art Photo and Gallery Fine Art Photo at Houston Skyline Studios and it was so much fun. They had a great studio and some great ideas to shoot.

We started shooting with some windows they had set up and I did some poses in and against the windows, both inside and outside of them. We got some awesome shots. And then I posed on the hardwood floors that they had set up below the windows.

After that we shot as a part of a series with a bunch of types of fabrics. The pictures came out phenomenally!

We then moved onto a setup where I got to play with a bunch of ducts and crazy goggles. I felt like a weird robot scientist thing. It was so much fun. I couldn’t believe that it was part of my job! I love that having that much fun is a part of my job. 🙂

And we finished up with a welding mask.

They were wonderful photographers! I highly recommend them. 🙂

The best thing after a long day of shooting is a long hot shower, and POPP and I couldn’t help but shoot in our awesome shower at the hotel we were shooting at!
