I’ve been a fan of David De Lara‘s art for years, so when he contacted me to work together, I was ecstatic!
When I arrived at the shoot, I had to hold back from fangirling the entire time. He was an awesome, laid-back guy, and his house was absolutely immaculate (I wanted to steal all of his furniture, lol).
He brought in Blood And Glitter for makeup and hair, and she did an amazing job! It was absolutely beautiful, and I couldn’t bear to take it off when the shoot was over.
We started shooting some art nudes with a beautiful flower arrangement that David painted gray, and they looked beautiful. I have never thought of doing something like that before, but it’s definitely something I’ll have to try in the future. We shot against a gorgeous backdrop (another piece of his I was absolutely jealous of), and the images are lovely.
Then we continues on to a set for Zivity where I told a story with a mannequin of his that stole my lingerie and I had to steal it back. 😛
