Photoshoots with Brother Gus, NegativeSpacePhoto, sirenshots, ME Photography, Kencredible, uncadan, j caldwell, and sirshannon

Another post with multiple shoots, and this one will wrap up all my East Coast Tour. 🙂

BG

Photoshoot with Brother Gus

Gus started off as a fan, and we formed a friendship, and then we finally got to work together, and now we are great friends. I love how many great people this job enables me to meet. 🙂 This shoot was for his EL-wire “Trondage” series, and it was a blast! Me and Mizz Bad Trypzz got all tied up and posed against just a blank studio wall and the wonderful Kassandra Leigh edited us to look as though we were in all kinds of other environments. 🙂
I love pretty much everything that glows, and blue is my color, so this was such a fun shoot!! And I’ve got a beautiful print that he sent me that I will have hanging on my wall from it.

NSP

Photoshoot with Negative Space Photo

This was a really interesting shoot, for multiple reasons. It went completely different than a lot of my shoots. So we were supposed to have a makeup artist, but she cancelled at the last minute, but I had already left our hotel and couldn’t turn around. She gave the photographer her kit, so at least we had that, but when I opened it, it was completely disorganized and had nothing to acutally apply the makeup. So my fiance and I somehow managed to apply makeup to my face. All of this was going on while we were trying to gain access to the location. NegativeSpace had applied for permission from Washington DC, since they were guarding it. We were shooting in the now abandoned Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital for the Criminally and Mentally Insane. This was a completely foreign concept to me because most photographers are just like “Oh, trespassing? No problem!” lol. Anyway, they were giving him the run around and we were hanging out in the parking lot waiting for someone to give us the go ahead, show us where to go , and unlock the building.
While we were waiting we shot a little bit in the back of his friend’s car. He had a friend with him that writes about historical places. I wish I could remember her name, because she writes about some really awesome places.
So finally they let us in, but had no idea where the autopsy room was, where he wanted to shoot, so we all split up (cue horror movie music, right?) to find it. My fiance and I found it in the basement, next to the incinerator and a room full of tubs labeled “biological waste” and called everyone together. We also found a filing cabinet full of used blood slides…
For the next couple of hours we shot in there with me on the autopsy table with the morgue drawers in the background. Of course it made my morbid little heart skip a beat. 🙂
Then we went upstairs and shot in one of the infectious disease testing rooms, that of course had a sign that said not to go into. 😛
It was a ton of fun, and I adore the images!

MEP

Photoshoot with ME Photography

My shoot with ME Photography was a great shoot and a wonderful time spent wandering around downtown Richmond. I’d never been to Richmond before, and it was really great to be able to see what it was like, and I loved it. Unfortunately it was also 100+ degrees and I spent 3 hours walking around it in 6″ heels… but it was still fun. 🙂 I almost passed out a couple of times, but he was really great about taking breaks when I needed to, and I always greatly appreciate that. I’ve worked with some photographers that are like “just get over it, keep going”. I had a lot of fun working with him!

Kencredible

Photoshoot with Kencredible

My shoot with Kencredible was awesome. It was short and sweet but we got a ton of great photos from it. He is incredibly talented and it was an honor to get to work with him. We shot two looks in his studio in about an hour and I’ve got a folder full of shots I love. He was a pleasure to work with. 🙂

flash

Photoshoot with F L A S H Photography

I shot with F L A S H Photography a couple of times because we were staying at the hotel that he owns/manages, and it’s probably one of the coolest places I’ve been to. It’s historic and has all of these cool rooms that they are renovating or fixing back up to their original grandeur. He was very laid back, and I was laughing the entire time. I got to shoot in thier awesome basement bar and then up on the roof. And then in the room where all of the workings for the elevators are. So much fun!

j caldwell

Photoshoot with j caldwell

Another shoot that lasted maybe an hour that resulted in a folder full of amazing shots. 🙂 Shooting with j caldwell was awesome, and I hope I get to work with him again. He shot entirely with film, and played around with different techniques and expired film. And he has an absolutely adorable kitty! I simply can’t pick my favorite shot from my shoot with him, and I hope that is a problem with future shoots we may have.

sirshannon

Photoshoot with sirshannon

My shoot with sirshannon was the last shoot on my tour, and we filled it with all kinds of stuff. I had soooo much fun! He was a blast to work with, and the perfect end to our 2.5 month tour of the East Coast.
We started out shooting against a white backdrop for a friend of his that makes some amazing jewelry. Check out his work: Made by Custom. I absolutely fell in love with the ring that I posed in. It was so beautiful. And Shannon sent me 2 beautiful prints from that series. I can’t wait to frame them and get them on the wall!
Then we changed pace and shot a couple Zivity sets. The first one was a crazy Statue of Liberty one, and the other one was this awesome goth/alt set with my ballet fetish heels. 🙂 Check them out!
– Statuesque
– These Boots Were Made For Standing (Vote 10 times, get the set + 11 bonus photos)

And that wraps up my East Coast Tour!
More images from these shoots are on my various sites, and in my portfolio on here.

Don’t forget to pre-order your calendar. 🙂 And keep an eye out for an awesome sale on my instax site for Cyber Monday!
And my birthday is coming up (December 5th), so for anyone interested, my wishlist is here.

Photoshoots with Magicc Imagery, Workshop with Billy Monday, Holmhurst Photography, Sarah Beth Faison, Deep Digital, and Roco Imagez

And another!

MIMagicc Imagery
I met up with Magicc Imagery in what felt like the middle of nowhere, but it turned out to be an amazing community that, from what I gathered lived off the land in a kind of commune. And the guy that runs the place makes amazing art pieces and builds entire structures by hand. The place had soooooo many amazing places to shoot. He gave us a tour and told me to pick places to shoot and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of it. It was virtually impossible for me to pick, there was just so many great places!!
I finally picked, and I think we managed to do 5 or 6 settings, and we even had a kitty follow us around for part of it. 🙂
I had SO MUCH FUN! I simply cannot wait to get back up there, and I hope we have more time to shoot so we can take more advantage of the amazing location.

13th Floor

Workshop with Billy Monday
I got the opportunity to work with Billy Monday again, and this time with the amazing model castella/Mary Celeste, even though we didn’t really get the opportunity to pose together very much. It was an iPhone/android workshop, so it was really interesting. While Billy was running around giving pointers and tips on how to combat the issues that most people have to deal with with cell phone cameras, Mary and I got to work with 13th Floor Photo (who shot the photo above), Joe Yeti Photos, Lux Studios, and my fiance, Pissed Off Pistol Photography got to shoot, too.
We all had a really great time and got some beautiful photos out of it, too.

Holmhurst Photography
I haven’t seen the photos from this shoot, but I really really want to. I was giggling throught this entire shoot and had too much fun. 😛 Holmhurst Photography shot me for a film project where models take random objects and use them as though they are other things. So at one point I was a kind of secret agent holding a drill as a gun and wearing my fluffy unicorn slippers. 😛 And another time I was in a crib using it as a boat, and using a rake as an oar. It was hilarious!
I hope I get to see the photos eventually. I know they must look great.

SBFSarah Beth Faison
Shooting with Sarah was an absolute blast! And we got soooo many great photos out of it! I can’t even pick my top 10 favorites from it. She’s just so talented.
We first shot a set in a beautiful white dress back in this overgrown bushy area, that was a very different look for me, but it looked beautiful. Then we shot with me in a purple leotard by the purple barn shown above, and then switched into the black one. While we were in the black one, a cop car drove up! Apparently they had seen her car there multiple times before and were just curious what she was doing, lol. They were super curious and were even munching on some pizza they had sitting in the box balancing on the dashboard. 😛
After we said goodbye to them we went a little further into the woods and found a creek so I changed into my bathing suit and we shot a set with me on this huge rock in the middle of the creek. It was a beautiful day, but walking through the water to get to the rock was stressful, lol. There were so many crawdads! I didn’t want to step on any of them. 😛
Then we went back to her house and shot a simple set in her kitchen on a blank wall, and completed our awesome day of shooting in her front yard, using a beautiful tree that had just bloomed light pink flowers. 🙂
Check out the awesome Zivity sets that we’ve got up! And don’t forget to vote on them. ❤
Allure
Pardon Me
Bird Song
Lucky Ones
Some photos from the set “Lucky Ones” was also featured in the October edition of Editorial Magazine! Purchase a copy of that here.

DDDeep Digital
My shoot with Deep Digital was a blast. It was so laid back and fun. And it was the start of an awesome friendship. I don’t even remember what all that we shot, but I remember having a TON of fun during it. I highly recommend working with him.
And he took my favorite hair-flip photo of all time!

RIRoco Imagez
Roco Imagez took me to Fort Washington, which I didn’t even know existed, and we had a great time exploring the place. He knew of a section of it that was really hidden and only really visited by deer (which we scared off), so it was no problem for me to frolic around naked for a couple of hours. There were so many great opportunities to shoot and we immediately started creating wonderful images. The texture of the fort contrasting against my pale and smooth skin looks so beautiful, I think, and there were all of these hidden places we got to explore. Even though I held my composure for the pictures, when he wasn’t snapping shots I was smiling the entire time. 🙂

That’s all for this installment. Check out more photos from my shoots with these awesome photographers on my various sites and my portfolio on here.

Photoshoots with B R Nett Photography, Scott Worldwide, Classic Magic Studios, Thomas Trio, AB Imagery, Urdaneta Photography, and Billy Monday

Yay! Another multi-shoot post to help me catch up. 😛

BRNETT

B R Nett Photography
My shoot with B R Nett Photography was absolutely awesome. Finding our way to a new part of NYC was a great start, and he just kept the great day going. It was laid back and we got some amazing images. I felt like I had the freedom to do all kinds of poses. I usually do a lot of glamour shoots, which is good, but I love doing work like this where I get to pose with weird angles make my body do weird things. And the amount of shots I have from the shoot, it’s so hard to narrow it down to even my top 5 favorites!

sw

Scott Worldwide
Another great shoot with Scott happened when we returned to Philly. He is a great guy to shoot with. I’m so sad that he so far away from me normally! It was very similar to our first shoot, but totally nude this time and we played around with different colored backdrops and some different lighting setups. I love how the shadows play on my body in some of the shots he took. I hope to work with him many many more times. 🙂

tt

Classic Magic Studios and Thomas Trio Photography
When I scheduled originally with Classic Magic, we weren’t sure if he was going to be able to get another photographer to shoot with him. In fact, up until I actually showed up, I thought that because we were shooting mid-day on Tuesday that other people weren’t able to get off work. 😛 Shooting with him and Thomas Trio was a lot of fun. We shot some basic art nudes, did some stuff with just jeans, stuff with some awesome scarves, some with a fedora… it was a great, laid back shoot. 🙂 I’m glad we were able to get it worked out!

up

Urdaneta Photography
We left Philly and made a day trip to Lancaster to shoot with Urdaneta Photography. After meeting up at a hotel room, we shot 3 or 4 awesome Zivity sets. Only 2 of them have made it to the internet, and unfortunately I don’t think the others will, but they are beautiful and you should check them out!!
1 – You’re Not Going Anywhere, Mr.
2 – My Insomnia, You See Stars!

Billy Monday

Billy Monday
I finally got the chance to shoot with Billy Monday once we left Philly and I adore the images we got. Being alone in a freshly cut hayfield was wonderful! And isn’t the picture above gorgeous?? If you get the chance to work with him, jump on it!

That’s all of the shoots I’m going to pack into this post, but I’ll do another post with a bunch of shoots soon. 🙂
As usual, you can find many more photos from these shoots on my various sites. ❤

Unfortunately my trip to Nashville that was scheduled for this upcoming weekend has had to be unexpectedly cancelled/postponed. But I plan to make it up there soon, so if you are in that area and wanted to work with me, please still let me know and I’ll let you know when I reschedule my trip! 🙂

Photoshoots with Dastardly Dave, Black Dog Studios RI, Nicolophobia, Jack Dog Studios, Nicolophobia, POPP, R And E, a workshop in NYC, gavin wilson, and F-1 Photo

Posted by Chelsea Christian on October 11, 2013

Ahhhh! I am the worst person! I am so terribly behind on posting about shoots! 😦 So in the next 2 or 3 blogs I will be getting you caught up with where I am in my huge timeline of posting. 🙂

DD

Photoshoot with Dastardly Dave Photography

DDDave and I had been talking via Twitter for like…a year, lol, and finally I was able to schedule a part of my travels up to his area! I was soooooo excited.

I seriously think that he, I, and POPP speny 80% of the 8 hours we were together talking and only maybe 30% shooting. 😛 We all just got along so well, and he is just such an awesome guy.

DDBut when we were shooting, we did some great stuff. First we shot in this awesome latex posture collar (that I gotta pick up for myself sometime, it was just so sexy!) and latex skirt). I wish I knew the designers. 😦

Then we shot for this crazy white wall series that he’s working on with a lot of different models emphasizing crazy poses and angles and such.

DDAfter that we moved into the other studio and shot some naturally lit nudes against this beautiful wall of windows they have. I love naturally lit nudes. /swoon

Then we shoti in a beautiful necklace made by his friend Cara Crass of Deathglam Couture. I just adore the skull on the lace and how the chains fall. Just beautiful!!!!

And we finished up the shoot with a pretty pink fascinator that my mom had given me for Christmas and I’d been saving to shoot with Dave. 🙂

I had a phenomenal time, and I hope we can do it again soon!!!! I need to get my ass back up to New Hampshire. 😛

Photoshoot with Black Dog Studios RI

This shoot almost didn’t happen, but not at any fault of the photographer. I almost chickened out because the location was really sketchy.

We had talked about shooting for his rocking chair concept, which I thought was really cool, where he has a rocking chair in an odd place and has a model that he poses in or around the chair. In this case we were under an underpass in what, to me, looked like a super sketchy place in town and looked fairly heavily trafficked. I was not only worried about us getting arrested, but worried about the car getting broken into.

Reluctantly we agreed to walking all the way over to the location with the photographer, and once we did that we realized that there was nothing to worry about. We were absolutely hidden from the road, but we could still see the cars and we were totally safe there.
I was so glad I gave it a chance instead of just calling it off before checking it out.

After all of that worry, the shoot went really well. 🙂

np

Photoshoot with Nicolophobia Photography

I had been looking forward to this shoot with Nicole since we were inadvertently introduced by Chloe VonCreepy, and I was right to be!

She did my hair, I did my makeup, and we shot for Westward Bound Latex and Katie Kansas at Battleship Cove in a pinup style.  I absolutely LOVE the shots she got. It’s bee a year, but I keep hoping to see more photos from the shoot. 😛 Maybe I’ll get lucky and she’ll edit more sometime. 😛

Photoshoot with Jack Dog Studios

Knowing I had a 5 hour drive to this shoot, I left an hour early in case there was any traffic. There wasn’t…until we got to the studio. The photographer neglected to tell me that he was downtown and had absolutely no parking anywhere near him. We spent time in traffic + 45 minutes looking for parking, so I was late. Finally we walk in.
When we walk in, he tells me that we’re going to shoot outside in the 110+ degree heat for a trade shoot because he’s never done it before and wants to try. I tell him no 1) it’s too hot, and 2) this is a trade shoot, so we’re going to do the usually studio stuff he does because that’s what we agreed that we would do.
We proceeded to shoot for 6 hours in a style which I can only describe as constant movement, without being able to catch your breath. Not, pose-pose-pose-pose. It was “sort of dance around and look somewhat awkward until he says stop and hope you don’t look stupid”.
6 hours.
And while we had discussed shooting nudes, and ended up shooting nudes, he insisted that I change i this awkward broom closet cupboard thing. Very awkward.
Anyway, 6 hour trade shoot with 5 hour commute over. I leave hoping that I’m going to get some great stuff because he’s got a great port.
3 months go by, I message him, nothing.
6 months go by, I message him, nothing.
8 months go by, I message him back, I get a response saying that their building flooded and that somehow their second floor studio was completely ruined, so they’ve been put behind.
9 months go by, I receive one image, so low res that it’s pixelated, so I can’t use it. It’s also essentially the same shot that I have from a paid shoot that I did.
13 months go by, I message him, nothing.

Yeah…..

np

Photoshoot with Nicolophobia and POPP

POPP and I went back and stayed with Nicole again and we had an epic second (and sort of third?) shoot!

nppoppShe took us to the abandoned Lincoln Park Amusement Park and we (I modelled, but both she and POPP took photos) shot around the broken down roller coaster in Vengeance Designs latex. I did my own hair and makeup this time. They got some great images! I just love abandoned things.

The awesome and sad thing is that the roller coaster was torn down less than a week after we shot there!! Crazy, right??

Anyway, some of the awesome shots that Nicole got were published in the July 2012 edition of Editorial Magazine, which can be purchased here: http://www.magcloud.com/browse/issue/407060

Then when we got back home we did a nude shoot in her awesome Jeffrey Campbell Nightmare heelless shoes! ❤

Photoshoot with R And E

My first shoot as we got into NYC was with R And E, who did an awesome electrical tape shoot with me. He can up with these crazy designs and taped them on me.

I felt like a superhero!
Or a weird zebra. 😛

It was so much fun. Well, until pulling the tape off, but even that wasn’t so bad,
I had lines on my skin for about a week though, where it had pulled of the dead skin I think. It was pretty amusing. I had a lot of fun doing that. 🙂 I’m hoping to try it again sometime.

gdvisuals

Workshop in NYC

On my first full day in NYC I did a workshop with another model, Charlotte Rose, who was absolutely wonderful, and it was run by Dwight NYC.
Photographers that attended were: C.C. Holdings, Edward Lee, FR Image Magic, GDVisuals (who shot the image above), lamourcafe80, Nickelous Hector, Revel Photo, Scott Station, and Volker Neumann.
It was a very fun workshop. I had a great time with everyone, and was very comfortable. Unfortunately I didn’t get photos from over half of the photographers, even though it said in the release they signed that they would provide models with copies but oh well. It was fun. 🙂

The only issue happened at the end when it came to payment. I was hired based on cash in full at the completion at the end. At the end Dwight didn’t have enough cash to pay both of us models in full and wanted to split the cash and pay the rest to us both via Paypal immediately. She didn’t have Paypal or even a bank account so that wasn’t an option for her. I have Paypal, so trying to be nice, and he had seemed very trustworthy, I said to just pay her in full in cash and then pay me via Paypal. Now this was a fair amount of cash, but I didn’t see any other option.
It took 3 weeks to get any money from him and I had to hound it down from him. And he basically paid me in tiny installments over the course of 8 or 9 months. I completely fucked over part of my trip and I had to overdraft my account because I had been planning on those funds.
Ugh…
So, we did eventually get squared away, I’m just relaying this story to emphasizing the importance of getting paid at the completion of a job.

gw

Photoshoot with gavin wilson

gwShooting with gavin was a lot of fun and he is really out of the box, so it was a standard shoot for me (which I loved).
Gavin is an amazing artist that does these huge (like…6+ feet) handdrawn works of art that are strange and beautiful. I urge you to check out his work. But he also does these latex mask self portraits, which are also fun.

gwWe started with a sewn latex neck corset that he’d made from leftover latex from some of his masks. And he added stars for me!! Yay!
Isn’t it awesome??

Then we shot for this adorable felt vagina heart series, and he made a blue one for me. I wanted to keep it, it was just so cute, lol.
gwI wonder if I could buy it from him?
I wonder if he still has it?
Anyway, super adorable.

Then we did some stuff on the floor with different fabrics and props, and finished up with a handmade latex ballgag and he stuff me in the corner of his studio-mate’s stuff. 😛

f-1

Photoshoot with F-1 Photo

f-1f-1My shoot with F-1 Photo was my first strictly pin-up shoot with my first strictly pinup photographer. And I fucking loved it!
I felt somewhat out of my element because, while I’d studied a lot of pinup work, I’d never executed it, but he guided me and I quickly figured it out. And he had a lot of wardrobe and accessories that were simple but turned it into a glamorous shoot.
It was the best!
I will definitely be shooting with him again, and I hope I get to shoot pinup more! 🙂

Ok, so, this is the first to get you caught up. 🙂 I’ll get to the others asap, but not too soon that it’s too soon.

Obviously I didn’t include very many pictures from each shoot in this blog, but lots and lots from them are on my various sites.

Also, I’ve been adding some awesome instax shots on my store, so go check those out! 🙂 They’re all 100% one of a kind and will be signed and kissed for you, and I ship worldwide asap. ❤

Photoshoot with Douglas Scott

Posted by Chelsea Christian on September 7, 2013
Posted in: Uncategorized.

DSDSMy shoot with Douglas Scott in New Hampshire was great.
We shot in a vacant space in a warehouse. It had huge windows that let in great natural light, and cement pillars throughout the room.

I started in a great fishnet bodysuit and worked to topless, then finished in a cute blue and black lingerie set.

We were going to another outdoor location under a bridge when all of the sudden a bad storm started, and hail started pouring onto the cars. We had only just gotten to the location, and the clouds looked really bad, so we decided to call it at day and headed out to this awesome bar for lunch. 🙂

Photoshoot with TimothyBeau

My next shoot with was TimothyBeau for his car.
He races an awesome car (and has actually been to race in Gainesville, which I thought was pretty cool) and was updating the pictures on his website for it. 🙂
We shot some awesome implied nudes with the car in his garage. I haven’t seen the pictures sadly, but I’m sure they were great. 🙂
