I kicked off my time in Houston with the first of three workshops at Fotofusion studios. It was really great. It ran really smoothly and all of the people there made it an awesome shoot!

As soon as POPP and I got into Houston from New Orleans I couldn’t resist shooting a sexy instax set in our hotel room!

To kick off the start of our second leg of our summer travels, POPP and I went to New Orleans.
The night before the trip, the designer Cotton And Silk showed up at our house and said she had a dress for us to shoot in the French Quarter. So I found time in my schedule and we woke up at sunrise to shoot her designs in New Orleans.
I got the chance to work with OYO Photography while he was travelling to Orlando from France. It was a fun, laid-back shoot at a really great Disney hotel that had a nautical theme. We shot all around the hotel room and I think we got some really great shots. 🙂
POPP and I got the opportunity to shoot with Syd Padgett in The Miller theater in Augusta, GA.
It is such a cool theater. It’s been abandoned for about 30 years and is falling apart inside. The city is raising money to restore it, and I think it’s going to look amazing once that happens. Syd is friends with the head of the restoration project, so we were able to get in.
We started out shooting on the stage, which was awesome. And then we continued up to the projection booth to shoot a bit. Then we continued to the foyer area with these beautiful glass block windows, where POPP shot some fashion stuff with me.
We ended the shoot with a tour of the entire building, where I got to shoot it. It was so awesome!
Shooting with Brady L Lambert was a lot of fun. We shot at an abandoned chicken farm that a friend of his owns, and it was so much fun looking around and seeing all of the stuff left there from so long ago. I found all kinds of stuff rusted into the walls and on the floor with layers and layers of dust on them.
We shot for a art nude film series that he was working on for a collector, and it was a lot of fun. We worked out a pose that looked good and then set up the shot. 🙂
My second shoot with Roco Imagez took me to Roosevelt Island, which was really awesome because I didn’t even know that it existed. We got to wander around and avoid people while looking for places to quickly run around naked. I always have a lot of fun working with him. It’s always so much fun. 🙂
After my shoot at Fort Washington, I headed to Fredericksburg to shoot with Thatcher Photography and MUA/Stylist Perris Cartwright for an awesome fashion/semi-nude shoot around town. It was a lot of fun. They were very laid back and I didn’t feel like I was being rushed at all.
We started off in a forest-y area, and I found the most adorable little box turtle. I actually almost stepped on him. 😛
Then we moved over to this area that looked like a bamboo forest randomly stuck in the middle of the woods. It was really interesting. And there was an abandoned car in the middle of it.
After we finished outside, we went back to his place and changed looks, and then went to the downtown area and shot in an alley for a very different look.
I love the different styles that we got out of the shoot. I hope we get to work together again. 🙂
